Here’s how a birthday cruise unfolds

If this is your first time booking a boat, don’t stress. Horizon makes it easy and fun; a private celebration that feels effortless.

    1. Welcome and safety

    Arrive at Marina Mirage. The crew will greet your group and run through a short safety briefing. With life jackets, two bathrooms, and private changing areas onboard, everyone can relax knowing they’re in good hands.

    2. Settle in

    Drinks go straight into the eskies, the music connects, and the party begins. Choose your spot; the trampolines for dancing, the bow for group photos, or the shaded lounge for conversations.

    3. Cruise and celebrate

    We’ll cruise along the Broadwater, past marinas, sandbanks, and skyline views. Some groups turn the boat into a dance floor. Others keep it laid-back with food, drinks, and laughter. The twin-hull catamaran rides steady, so everyone feels comfortable.

    4. Destination stops

    Most birthday groups anchor at Wave Break Island — calm water perfect for swimming and paddleboarding. For something quieter, we can head further north to South Stradbroke Island with sandy beaches and sheltered coves.

    5. Heading back

    As the afternoon light softens, the skyline glows. It’s the perfect moment for birthday photos and a last toast. After 3, 4, or 5 hours, we’ll bring you back to Marina Mirage with a celebration that feels both easy and unforgettable
