Chef on board
A chef from In Season Catering joins your private charter and serves a multi-course meal from the galley. Restaurant quality, relaxed pace, no one in your group lifting a finger. Designed specifically for life on the water by Executive Chef Craig Weston and his team.
Best for milestone birthdays, corporate days on the Broadwater, and any occasion worth marking properly.

Pre-ordered grazing platters
Grazing boards, charcuterie, cheese, fresh fruit, dips, hot options. All prepared, packaged, and delivered to Marina Mirage so it's ready when your group boards. Your group grazes through the day at their own pace.
Most popular with hens parties and birthday groups. Low effort, high quality, exactly the right feel for a day on the water.

BYO food and drinks
Horizon Cat is fully BYO. Onboard fridges, large eskies, and a BBQ if you want to use it. Bring everything yourself, or mix and match with platters for the main spread.

About In Season Catering
In Season Catering was founded by Owner and Executive Chef Craig Weston, who brings 25+ years of hospitality experience to every charter. Craig's background spans an Italian restaurant and a Gold Coast café, and his approach is straightforward: restaurant-quality food, designed to work beautifully on the water.
His team understands the unique requirements of catering on a boat. The timing, the packaging, the pace of service. It's not the same as a restaurant kitchen, and they don't treat it like one.

Yes. Horizon Cat is fully BYO for both food and drinks. We've got onboard fridges, large eskies, and a BBQ available if you want to use it. Plenty of groups bring everything themselves, and plenty mix BYO drinks with pre-ordered platters from In Season Catering for the main food spread.

You've got three options on a Horizon Cat charter. You can have a chef from In Season Catering on board preparing and serving a multi-course meal from the galley, you can pre-order grazing platters that get delivered to Marina Mirage before you board, or you can BYO. Charter and catering are booked separately: lock in your charter with us first, then arrange catering directly with In Season using the links above.

Yes. Through our partnership with In Season Catering, one of Executive Chef Craig Weston's team can join your charter, work from the galley, and serve a multi-course meal across the day. It's relaxed rather than formal, paced to match your charter, and works particularly well for milestone birthdays and corporate events.

Most hens groups go with pre-ordered grazing platters from In Season Catering. They're delivered to Marina Mirage before you board, ready to graze through the day, and the food matches the relaxed pace of a day on the water. Some groups add BYO drinks. Others go full BYO. A chef on board is also an option for hens groups marking a bigger milestone.

Yes. Book your Horizon Cat charter with us first, then arrange catering directly with In Season Catering using the links on this page. If you want a hand coordinating timings or dietaries, just flag it when you enquire and we'll help line everything up.

Yes. Vegan, gluten free, allergies, all handled for both the chef on board and the platter options. Just confirm your requirements when you book with In Season and they'll take care of it.

Of course. If you've booked a chef through In Season, let them know in advance and they'll work it into the flow of the day. If you're doing platters or BYO, just bring it along, we've got the fridge space.

For chef on board, book 1 to 2 weeks ahead, or 3 weeks ahead if you want full menu choice. For platters, a week's notice is usually enough but the earlier the better, especially for weekends in peak season.

Horizon Cat is fully BYO for drinks. You bring what your group wants and we keep it cold in the onboard fridges and eskies.
