Horizon Cat Cruises offers private boat hire on the Gold Coast Broadwater, departing from Marina Mirage. Our catamaran accommodates up to 30 guests, available for hens parties, birthday celebrations, corporate events, and family milestone cruises. Private cruises run from 1 to 6 hours, with popular destination stops including Wave Break Island and South Stradbroke Island. The catamaran is fully BYO with onboard BBQ, eskies, a Bluetooth sound system, paddleboards, lily pad, kitchen facilities and two private bathrooms.

The Horizon Cat is BYO food and beverages. We have large eskies, fridges, and freezers on board to keep your food fresh and beverages cold. There is also a BBQ with all the necessary utensils for cooking.
We encourage you to bring your drinks pre-chilled, along with some extra bags of ice.
Additionally, there are cafés on-site at the marina that offer catering packages that can be booked in advance. They provide a great range of platters and plates that are boat-friendly and have been very popular with our guests.

Yes! We have some great beach-stop destinations around Wave Break Island and South Stradbroke. We can pull up on the beach, allowing you to swim, paddleboard, or lounge on the lily mat in protected, clean, and safe waters.

Yes. Horizon Cat is a modern, stable catamaran with safety gear and life jackets for all ages. Shaded seating, restrooms, and calm routes make it comfortable for families and mixed groups.

Cruise times are customisable and will be prearranged with your booking. All private cruises have a minimum duration of three hours.
The Horizon Cat will be ready 15 minutes before departure to ensure a smooth start to your cruise.

Cancellations more than 14 days before your cruise:
For cancellations made more than 14 days before your scheduled cruise, we will provide a full refund.Cancellations within 14 days of your cruise:
Due to the preparations involved and the potential loss of booking opportunities, we do not offer refunds for cancellations made within 14 days of the scheduled cruise.Please note that this cancellation policy is part of our terms and conditions. By booking with us, you agree to this policy. We recommend that clients obtain appropriate travel insurance to protect against unforeseen circumstances.
In the event that Horizon Cat Cruises must cancel due to severe weather or other circumstances beyond our control, we will make every effort to reschedule. If rescheduling is not possible, a full refund will be provided.
